We would like to welcome all new students and parents into Springfield. Please feel free to contact any of us if you would like to get involved, or if you just want to chat.

SEPTA meetings: Usually the FIRST Monday of the month in the library with

   April 3 at 7pm

May 1 at 7pm

*June 5 at 11:30 am

May 5- Outdoor Movie Night - Time TBD
May 8- Scholastic BOGO Book Fair
June 5- SEPTA Meeting 11:30am

 Clearances to Volunteer

As a volunteer in Palisades schools, the following clearances will be required:

  1. Act 24 - Arrest and Conviction Form - FREE
  2. Act 34 - Criminal History Check - FREE FOR VOLUNTEERS (check the box)
  3. Act 151 - Child Abuse Clearance - FREE FOR VOLUNTEERS (check the box)

Clearances must be re-submitted every 5 years.

Act 114 - Fingerprints will NOT be required to volunteer in Palisades schools as long as you have lived in Pennsylvania for the last 10 years. A waiver (available at the above link) will need to be notarized & submitted which attests to the fact that you have lived in PA for the last 10 years in order to be exempt from submitting fingerprints. All clearances should be forwarded to our District

S.E.P.T.A. is a local organization of parents & teachers that promotes the welfare of children in the home, at school & in the community. It raises funds for many school needs that are over and above what are available through standard school funding.

In addition to fundraising efforts, S.E.P.T.A. hosts many fun and enriching activities, such as: Assemblies, Book Fairs, Ice-Cream Socials & a Family Fun Day at Dorney Park.
